Laparoscopy
Laparoscopy is a surgical procedure that can be used for hysterectomies or tubal sterilization, as well as diagnosing issues such as infertility and pelvic pain. It is a minimally invasive procedure in which a laparoscope (a very small instrument) is inserted into the abdomen through several small incisions.
Though a laparoscopic surgery may take longer than an open surgery, patients who receive laparoscopic surgery recover more quickly and have minimal scaring.
