Hysteroscopy
A hysteroscopy is a procedure in which a small scope is inserted through your vagina and into your uterus. An image of your uterus is transmitted to a screen where your physician can see and diagnose uterine problems, and treat them with other instruments.
Women who suffer from abnormal uterine bleeding may be good candidates for this procedure, as well as women who have had multiple miscarriages in a row.
Be sure to discuss the benefits, risks, and recovery time of this procedure with your provider.
